Weekly Emergency Grocery Run

The traditional trip to the grocery store Saturday night. We don’t go grocery shopping on Sundays, so of course every single Saturday without fail we realize that there is something that we just CAN’T live without for an entire day (notice the contents of the basket…) .

Once it was too heavy for him to carry, he put it on the ground and pushed. He adamantly refused all help offered.

Atlas did not mind heading out for a fun little family trip when he was supposed to be in bed. I didn’t mind taking him out to show off how adorable he is in pjs. Usually one of us would stay home and put Atlas to sleep, but it was the end of a very long week, and we just wanted to have some good ol family time at the grocery store …

Over The Weekend … Marshlands

Open Space

City-livin-lack-of-breathing-room gotchya down? The Bedwell Bayfront Park in Menlo Park  is a lovely place to go-and-walk. Its all open space and marsh-ey. There are nice people who fly their remote controlled air planes. People who walk their dogs without leashes. And people like us who let their children sit in the dirt hopelessly and also wander aimlessly picking up rocks.

Things are a little dead-ish right now at the park. I do like the feel of fall, but it was a lot prettier in the spring with its rolling green hills and colorful wild flowers :) .

This was a very nice Sunday evening after a weekend of watching General Conference.
